Pulitzer prize winner Henry Allen visits Blair

Henry Allen, winner of the Pulitzer for his criticism of photography in 2000, talked to Blair CAP students Dec 16.

He spoke to the Blazers about different aspects of journalism writing, including feature writing. Allen has been working for the Washington Post for several years and has been in the newspaper business since 1966.

Allen has written a novel called Going Too Far Enough, as well as a history book called What It Felt Like. Allen has also compiled a book of his essays and a book of his poetry.

A Vietnam Marine Corps veteran, Allen currently lives in Takoma Park.
