SGA calls Activity Fair success

The Activity Fair was successfully held today during 5A and 5B lunch after being postponed from last week because of the Code Blue and Code Red drills.

The clubs and organizations scheduled to set up tables for the event included Amnesty International, Step Team, Key Club, Japanese Club, Chess Club, BLISS, Silverquill, French Club, Marching Band, Spirit Club, Forensics Club, BNC, Ethiopian Club, Diversity Workshop, SGR, Stage Crew, It's Academic and the ACLU. However, according to the SGA, two or three clubs did not show.

Students crowded around television screens and tables along Blair Boulevard to support Blair's organizations. Clubs used the opportunity to distribute brochures, display videos and/or offer sign-up sheets to those interested in joining. The SGA said that students showed support and respect for their peers and that the event was an overall success.
