Sweetness of Halva

Delicious Azeri dessert


If you want a taste of mouth-melting cuisine, here is your chance. Halva, which is literally translated as "sweet meat," is a dessert that originated in the Mediterranean. It is very delicious and very easy to make.

Preparation time: 10 minutes         Serving size: 4

Kitchenware:
- 1 pan
- 1 cup
- 1 plate
- 1 spoon

Ingredients:
- 4 tbl. spoons of flour
- 1 block of butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- A pinch of saffron

Procedure:
1. Put a pan on the stove.

2. When the pan heats up, put the block of butter into the pan and wait until it melts.

3. Once the butter has melted, add the 4 table spoons of flour along with the cup of sugar, and fry it in the pan.

4. After the substance in the pan has turned a dark yellow, add a pinch of saffron for rich color.

5. Transfer onto a plate and enjoy!
