Angela says, “I had an initial draft that was a portrait of him where I was just writing his last words over and over again to make that portrait of him. But as I was getting through it I realized that it probably wasn’t something that he wanted to leave behind, his last words were sad.” Angela instead created a portrait that highlighted Raskin’s accomplishments and his ties to the Blair community.
