Fruity drink conjures up images of summer


School is almost over, but many Blazers still have exams to sit through before welcoming the heat and sunshine. Days of lounging by the pool and freedom from homework and tests are within reach. Fortunately, study breaks are the perfect opportunity to whip up a virgin Pina Colada and daydream about sandy beaches. Composed of only four ingredients, this recipe is easy to make and delicious to drink.

Non-alcoholic Pina Coladas

Prep time is about 10 minutes. Makes about 2 servings.

Kitchenware:
- 1 blender
- 1 goblet or any other drinkware
- measuring cups
- measuring spoons
- 1 spoon

Ingredients:
- 8 ice cubes or 1 cup crushed ice
- 1 1/2 cup pineapple juice (not from concentrate)
- 1 cup coconut milk or 1/2 cup cream of coconut
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- pineapple spears (optional)
- other pieces of fruit for garnish (optional)

Preparation:


1.Pour the pineapple juice and coconut milk into the blender.

2.Add the ice.

3.Blend for 30 seconds on medium power or until smooth.

4.Pour mixture into the goblet or other drinkware.

5.Add garnishes and pineapple spears.

6.Kick back, enjoy and daydream about summer!
