MAY 6, BLAZER STADIUM-

The girls' lacrosse team let a victory slip away today against Watkins Mill High School and lost, 11-10.

Despite the Blazers' best efforts and an early lead, Watkins Mill scored a slew of runs late in the second half, including the winning goal in the final thirty seconds of play, to grit out a difficult win over the Blazers, who had hoped to end the season over .500. Instead the team is 5-5 heading into the playoffs.
