Omar Guerrero

Name: Omar Guerrero
Position: Page Editor
Graduation Year: 2002
Omar Guerrero is will participate this year on Silver Chips for a second year. Guerrero was born in Managua, Nicaragua on April 20, 1984, the baby of the family, including an older brother and sister. The family moved to the United States in 1988 to start a new life in Maryland. As his life went on, Guerrero gained an interest in many things, including basketball, college (Go Maryland) and pro (Go Miami), baseball (Go Yankees), playing alto saxophone, piano, and of course writing. In the future, one might see Guerrero writing for a newspaper or working in one of many fields in law enforcement. Guerrero joined Silver Chips last year as a Staff Writer and this year has moved up to become Chips' Senior Page Editor, which basically means that he's a senior AND a page editor (Oh my!) Feel free to email Mr. Guerrero with any ideas, complaints, "shout-outs" and, for the ladies, phone numbe...I mean, "contact information." (He likes to joke around too, can you tell?)
