The JV softball team opened their season with a strong victory over the Einstein Titans this afternoon. Despite foundering mid-way through the game, the Blazers' superior batting skills carried the team to a 22-11 win after only five innings.

While there were no stars of the game, the Blazers attribute their strong win to sophomore co-captain Lee Shields' solid consistency at catcher and sophomore Max Epstein's outstanding excellence as pitcher.
