School can be a lot easier if teachers make conscious decisions on how to assign work say students and teachers
Opting to take the "L" on a homework could very well be worth it if the reward is an extra hour or two of sleep. I'm not recommending that you neglect work entirely, but when exhausted, sometimes it's better to just hit the sack.
Many of us high schoolers deal with stressful situations outside of school. Whether it's playing a sport, taking care of younger siblings/elderly relatives or achieving a personal goal, we all need time away from schoolwork in order to deal with such situations. However, Diane Tran, a high school student from Texas, did not have enough time in the day for all that she had to do.
If only winter break could be restful, rather than a time to wrestle with the voice in the back of your head saying that you should be working.
