2002 World Series results:

Game 7: Anaheim Angels 4, San Francisco Giants 1

Angels win World Series for the first time. See other game results below.

The World Series is a California series; San Francisco Giants versus the Anaheim Angels. I think that the Angels will win the World Series. The Angels have shown themselves to be a more powerful, driven team. They had a somewhat easy time beating the Yankees and the Twins. The Giants had some trouble with the Braves and played some tough games against the Cardinals.

The most memorable moments were announced at Game 3. Cal Ripken's game streak won first place as the most memorable monent. Here is a list of the top 10.

1. Cal Ripken's game streak
2: Hank Aaron's 715th homer, 1974.
3: Jackie Robinson breaks MLB's color line, 1947.
4: Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa race to overtake Roger Maris, 1998.
5: Lou Gehrig bids farewell, 1939.
6: Pete Rose passes Ty Cobb as the hit-leader, 1985.
7: Ted Williams posts the last .400 average, 1941
8: Joe DiMaggio hits in 56 straight, 1941.
9: Kirk Gibson's pinch-hit homer starts Dodgers to World Series upset, 1988.

What do you think is the most memorable baseball moment? Please feel free to post comments on the top ten. Also feel free to post predictions and comments on the World Series.
