From Paris with Love (R) - John Travolta has a goatee, a million different guns and an unorthodox spy mentality to help him stop a terrorist attack in Paris with the help of a low-ranking employee at the office of the U.S. Ambassador in France, played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers. The director of "Taken", Pierre Morel, brings another action movie reminiscent of "Die Hard" and just about every other spy movie out there. But the car chases and explosions are still pretty cool. Valentine's Day (PG-13) - The plot of the newest rom-com? Nowhere to be found amongst the astounding number of A-list celebrities starring in this clichéd conglomeration of love stories of unrelated people and couples. The Time Traveler's Wife (PG-13) - Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana play the characters in the best-selling novel by Audrey Niffenegger, who are linked by love but separated by time. Bana's character is spontaneously and uncontrollably transported into different time periods, complicating (to say the least) his relationship with the woman he loves. And the cause of this unfortunate time tragedy? His rare genetic disorder. Don't tell me you've never heard of the gene that acts as a time portal at random intervals. It exists. Ask any biology teacher or geneticist. (Feb. 9)

Law Abiding Citizen (R) - Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) wants revenge for the murder of his wife and daughter. From inside prison, he targets the murderer and the assistant district attorney involved in the case, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) and threatens the entire city of Philadelphia. (Feb. 16)
