The Colesville side of the school building was vandalized with graffiti over the weekend.

School officials found the graffiti when they opened the school on Monday morning, according to building services manager James Brown. There was an announcement on Monday of a $100 reward for information about the vandalism. According to Roxanne Fus, who makes the announcements in the afternoon, the announcement was submitted by Mr. Gainous's secretary.

Brown said that they do not have the chemicals to clean the graffiti. The materials needed to clean the wall include a type of acidic substance and power washing. "We have to send a work order," said Brown.

The graffiti causes problems for the whole maintenance staff. "[The graffiti] makes more work for us because we're going to have to try and cover it up," said Brown. Brown also worries about the appearance of the school from Colesville. "[The graffiti] makes the school look ugly," he said.
