Not enough tickets sold for countywide dance
The BNC sponsored semester Shakedown, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, January 23, was canceled by the administration.
According to Cindy Keyser, Public Relations Executive Director for BNC the administration decided to cancel the dance because not enough tickets were sold beforehand.
Keyser is disappointed that the "administration decided to cancel the dance the day of" and feels it was very "unprofessional."
Public Relations Director of Television, KellyAnne Mifflin said the number of tickets sold "was a pretty small amount."
Mifflin had hoped the Shakedown would be BNC's main fundraiser. "I'm really disappointed because this was going to be our big money maker and lots of fun," Mifflin said.
