As the anniversary of September 11th approaches, the SGA has been making plans for the school to honor and commemorate those who died.

Today, according to SGA second vice president Nardos Bellete, SGA president, Sara Furlow will be making an announcement. "She will announce that students should wear either red, white, and blue or their country's own colors on September 11," said Bellete. Also the SGA will be handing out white ribbons "to represent hope." There will be a moment of silence right around when the attacks occurred.

According to corresponding secretary, Julia Treseder, SGA has taken charge of the day because the Blair community put them in charge of spirit and made them the leaders of the school. "[SGA] is responsible for how the school is going to commemorate the day and for representing the feelings of the students."
