The Blazers (10-9) lost to the Jaguars (12-6) 5-3 in the second round of the playoffs. Northwest scored all five of their runs in the first inning leaving the Blazers to play catch up the rest of the game.


Baseball loses on Senior Night

Blair baseball (8-7) lost to Walter Johnson (5-14) by a final score of 8-4 on the Blazers' senior night. Blair struggled to throw strikes as they fell behind early and were unable to work their way back.


Baseball loses to top-ranked Poolesville

Another game can be added to the list of the varsity baseball team's frustrating losses along with their tough, 12-inning loss to Sherwood on Thursday afternoon. The Blazers (4-3) met their match as they played Poolesville (8-0) and lost 4-3.


Baseball falters against Northwest

Already behind by the bottom of the first, Blair was never able to complete a comeback against a tough Northwest pitching staff. The Blazers' rally in the sixth inning fell short as the varsity baseball team (5-7) lost to the Northwest Jaguars (9-3) by a score of 7-3. The loss snapped a two-game win streak, which included a 7-0 victory over a seven-win Paint Branch team.
