Blair librarians are hoping to expand outreach through a different language
For the first few months of the school year, the media center was understaffed with only three faculty members. However, there is a new library staff member, Sandie Angulo Chen, starting just this month who will be helping out in the media center.
Although the Media Center staff separated its tables by gender for the good intent of creating a more peaceful and learning-conducive environment, the tables lead to gender discrimination and stereotyping.
Reuse and recycling initiatives are more of what Blair needs to make the school greener and more resource efficient. To contribute, specialist Andrea Lamphier has begun a series of improvement projects Wednesday for the school's media center.
