Blazers win their division for the third year in a row
Blair Varsity baseball won its seventh game in a row Wednesday night, taking down the Wheaton Knights 10-0 to improve to a record of 12-3 on the season. This game comes after Tuesday night's division clinching 5-4 victory at Walt Whitman High School, the team that knocked Blair out of the playoffs last year.
Richard Montgomery put up a good fight, with their pitcher being one of the toughest the Blazers have faced all season. But in the end Blair's defense helped them come out on top, beating Richard Montgomery 6-4 and securing the division title for the second year in a row.
The Blair girls' varsity tennis team had an easy win over Northwest in their final divisional game, rendering them divisional champions for the second year in a row. The Blazers (7-2) won six out of the seven matches they played against the Jaguars (2-6).
