County Executive Ike Leggett announced that the inaugural Montgomery Serves Awards Ceremony will take place on April 30 at Imagination Stage in Bethesda.
On May 26, the County Council approved the Fiscal Year 2012 operating budget that will go into effect on July 1. The plan allots Montgomery County Public Libraries total of $27.6 million for next year.
