It didn't look good for the Blazers (1-3), when only three minutes into the game the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (2-1) were already up by 7 points. From then on forward the Blazers were just playing catch-up as they fell 60-43.
The girls' tennis team (1-1) lost, 1-6, against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (2-0) in Blair's first home game of the season. The superior competition and the Blazers' difficulty hitting the balls over the nets were major contributors to the loss.
The girls' varsity volleyball team (0-1) was overwhelmed in a difficult match against the B-CC Barons (1-0), whose powerful offense seemed unstoppable for the Blazers. Though Blair showed improvement as the game progressed, they dropped all three of the game's sets with scores of 12-25, 16-25 and 14-25.
Despite a strong start, the boys' varsity lacrosse team (0-2) fell to the B-CC Barons (1-1) by a final score of 14-4. The Blazers struggled offensively, especially in the second half, and were unable to make plays at crucial moments.
