The Blair boys' basketball team (13-9) beat the Richard Montgomery Rockets (18-4) in stunning fashion to advance to the next round of the playoffs. The Blazers had a strong showing in the second half to beat the top seeded Rockets. Although Blair got off to a slow start, crucial big-man play from twins Julius and Jordan Cobb contributed to Blair's late success.
All of the boy's volleyball players had a huge presence in scoring points, and this teamwork led them to a decisive playoff win. In three quick sets, the boy's volleyball team (8-1) advanced to the third round of playoffs, overpowering the Wheaton Knights with final scores of 25-9, 25-8 and 25-8.
The boys' tennis team (1-0) defeated the Richard Montgomery Rockets to claim a victory in their second home match of the season. Despite blustery weather and a wind factor, the Blazers stayed strong against the Rockets and finished the match with a final score of 4-3.
