Teachers, alumni, and friends reflect on the 25-year-old’s legacy
BLISS assigns upperclassmen tutors with younger and lower level classes, giving academic assistance to students and an extra hand to teachers. But BLISS accomplishes much more than an academic mission.
On Nov. 16, guest speaker Susan Taube discussed her experiences in the Holocaust with Blair students during fifth and sixth periods in room 164. The Jewish Culture Club hosted the event to increase awareness about the impact of discrimination.
On Sept. 26, senior Tommy Raskin was named the winner of the Humanist Essay Contest, which was sponsored by The Humanist magazine. Raskin discovered the contest through an advertisement in an issue of the magazine.
