The restaurants at Four Corners have more than just your regular order
On Nov. 28, the city of Wheaton, Md., received the state Community Legacy Award from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. The award includes a $350,000 grant, which will be used to help finance environmentally-friendly projects.
On Nov. 28, the Montgomery Blair High School (MBHS) Security Team, in conjunction with MBHS Administration and local businesses in the Four Corners area, implemented the "We Support School Safety" campaign in order to enforce Blair's closed-campus policy.
At approximately 7:25 p.m. on Friday, a mild fire broke out at the Silver Spring Stage, a theater located under the CVS in Four Corners.
On Dec. 13, Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its second Silver Spring location at the nearby Woodmoor Shopping Center. Chipotle replaced the space previously occupied by Subway, which relocated into the space formerly held by China House, according to Chipotle spokeswoman Katherine Newell Smith. Smith said that Chipotle came to Woodmoor in response to requests of several members of the community.
