The boys' basketball team turned up the heat and demolished the Einstein Titans by a score of 70-35, on senior night. Once again, senior guards Trey Wainwright and Damar Bess led the charge with 12 points and 18 points respectively.

With last year's second round playoff loss fresh in their minds, the boys' basketball team rolled against the Kennedy Cavaliers in a 62-49 victory. Anchored by a stifling defense and a collective offensive effort, the Blazers pushed their record to 2-0 on the year.
With 12.6 seconds left in the game, the Blazers (12-8) found themselves up by one against the visiting Vikings (11-9), well on their way to win number 13 on the season. Junior co-captain Damar Bess was at the free throw line, and Bess had already scored 10 points in the decisive fourth quarter.
It looked like Northwood (0-2) might have a chance against Blair as they scored first, taking a 2-0 lead over the Blazers. That only lasted for a minute however as Blair (2-0) went on to dominate the rest of the game en route to a 56-20 thrashing of their archrivals.
