The Blair girls' varsity volleyball team (8-2) was able to outplay the Einstein Titans (1-9) on Thursday in only three sets. The match featured a quick offense from the Blazers as they varied up their plays and made use of their second-string players. The scores for the sets were: 25-13, 25-11 and 25-12

The Panthers proved tough with strong blocks coupled with aggressive strikes, but the Blazers kept their cool and were able to ultimately outplay their opponent by the score of 25-17, 18-25, 25-9, 25-20.

Blair pulled together a strong defense and kept pounding Clarksburg with fast spikes and consistent serves, resulting in 3 sets for the Blazers and a quick match; the scores for the sets were 25-12, 25-16, and 25-16.

The Whitman Vikings (7-4-1) narrowly beat the Blair Blazers (6-6), 17-25, 21-25 and 17-25. For Blair, this was senior night, the last home game of the season, making the game more animated and exciting. Although Blazers lost, their amplified spirit and excellent teamwork helped them to play an excellent game.
