Students from all across D.C. and Maryland participated in the "Enough is Enough: Students for gun control legislation" protest organized by Richard Montgomery High School student Daniel Gelillo today in Washington, D.C. to protest gun violence. This protest comes in the wake of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida last Wednesday that left 17 dead.
Starting Monday November 14, students gathered in the media center after school for a week to talk and engage in meaningful dialogue about race. Students also utilized this time to organize and plan the next step following the walk out.
Hundreds of Montgomery Blair students left campus on Nov. 14 to participate in a national protest against President-elect Donald Trump.
