The Blair Blazers (7-2-1) lost a hard fought game against the Whitman Vikings (8-2-1) 2-0 on Tuesday night. Both teams remained strong defensively, but Blair struggled to gain momentum in the attacking half.

The Blair Blazers (14-1) beat the Richard Montgomery Rockets (6-8) 3-1 after going down by a goal late in the first half. Blair's comeback was led by the team's senior captains Sean Munroe and Jimmy McMillian, who each scored a goal in the second half.

Boys varsity soccer (3-1-4) easily defeated Northwood (1-5) under a grey cloudy sky on Monday evening. Northwood's defense was strong, but not strong enough to hold back a determined Blair team. Blair's offense had control of the ball for the majority of the game and managed to secure a significant lead during the first half of play.


Boys' soccer secures overtime win against Kennedy

Varsity boys' soccer (2-1-1) defeated Kennedy (0-3) in overtime by a score of 5-4. Blair managed to stay calm and work together despite injuries, a red card, and a determined Kennedy team in an exciting game on Wednesday evening.

As the outside temperature cooled off around Blair Stadium, the Friday night soccer game was just beginning to heat up. Amidst shouting at the referees and three yellow cards, Blair (4-1) claimed victory over the Winston Churchill Bulldogs (4-2-1) by a score of 2-1.

Coming off a 4-2 loss at Kennedy Wednesday, Blair boys' varsity soccer (2-1) started out shakily against the Richard Montgomery (RM) Rockets (2-3). But following halftime words from Coach John Haigh, the Blazers dominated the second 40 minutes en route to a 3-1 victory.

After losing its season opener to Quince Orchard, the boys' varsity soccer team (1-1) beat the B-CC Barons (0-1) in their home opener by a score of 3-1. The Blazers were without head coach John Haigh who received a red card after a heated argument in the team's game last Friday.
