Marvel's stranglehold on the superhero movie business is still well in place and their grip tightens with Alan Taylor's "Thor: The Dark World". This latest installment in the story of Marvel Comics' Norse hero is the sequel to Kenneth Branagh's "Thor" and the eighth installation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel has put out a slew of movies over the last few years that depict the caped crusaders of their comic book universe and "The Dark World" is one of their stronger releases.

Blair Varsity Football falls to Whitman Vikings

Friday night's game at Blazer stadium was the final football contest ever for many of Blair's varsity members, and they made sure that senior night was a night to remember. Despite falling behind early and committing costly miscues, the Blair Blazers (5-5) fought hard but fell just short against the Whitman Vikings (7-3) by the score of 17-13.

The school was buzzing as Blair students participated in one of the most spirited weeks of the school year, which all led up to Saturday evening's Homecoming dance. But before the dance could commence, Blair football took the field in Friday night's Homecoming game, where the Blazers (3-3) easily took care of the Wheaton Knights (1-5) to the tune of 28-7.

Sam has come back to tie his twin brother Jacob after Jacob had overtaken the lead the previous week. Following a crazy week three, what will week four have in store? Last week, the Chiefs upset the Eagles to move to 3-0 and the Dolphins upset the Falcons to move to 3-0 as well. As for our experts, it was an off week for everyone. Only Jacob managed to go over the .500 mark at 9-7 for the week. Although Sam retains his lead, Jacob is now only two games behind.

Blair dominates Northwood in the Battle of the Boulevard

On a chilly, rainy day, the annual Battle of the Boulevard between the Blair Blazers and the Northwood Gladiators did not dampen the spirits of Blair fans. Despite the weather conditions, loyal fans stuck it out until the final whistle in order to watch the Blazers crush the Gladiators, 28-6.
